I recently read about furniture designers Ben and Jessica of B+J Greene on Bernie's blog. This couple, who recently adopted an adorable doggie named Lexi, designs functional art using recycled materials. Jessica's piece, First Chair, is one she created for Ben in 2002. She utilized pieces of a broken skateboard to create the chair's back. I really dig the loveseat they created for Jess' parents a few years ago. The glass-top table shows skateboard pieces used as tile on the top. Very cool! B+J Greene create other items as well, including artwork & apparel.
