While I generally post about funky handmade goods, sometimes I come across a great product that I just have to share. The Tassi is one such product. Tassi solves the problem all women have when they wash their face, put on makeup, get a massage, or do any kind of skin care or treatment - what to do with their hair! Their motto is Keep Your Hair Outta There! It's great because it won't flatten, twist or mess up hair like headbands, clips & ponytails will. The short video on their homepage quickly demonstrates how easy to use the Tassi is and exactly what it is for. I have enjoyed using mine while soaking in the tub, washing my face and putting on makeup. This affordable product is available in twelve colors and when you order two or more you receive free shipping. This is one fun(ky) product you are sure to enjoy.

Hand-Crafted Hope Chests

Hand-Crafted Hope Chests features pieces that are handmade by Amish artisans and come in solid wood of either cedar, oak, maple or cherry. Eventually it would be a place to store for her wedding gown, baby clothes and other family memorabilia. These days many people use chests for extra storage for things such as linens. Project TransAction

Most Valentine's gifts and sales I find focus primarily on girly things no man would really want to receive. Project TransAction now offers a wider variety of hand-tinted, eco-friendly leather dyes. Men will like the red/black target cuff made of recycled thick oxblood colored branded leather. I love the screen printed cuffs, such as the typewriter and periodic table cuffs. The Mariposa Studded Cuff is a feminine cuff featuring thinner leather, screen printing, and a mix of brass, steel, and black steel studs. The dachshund is an adorable creation, as is Iggy the Iguana. The pieces that are inspired by the ancient Oriental art of Ikebana flower arranging are especially intriguing and would be very cool in any garden.
