Earlier this summer Funky Finds signed on to be a sponsor of Girl Indie's first annual Designer Chick contest. Amongst tons of great prizes, we donated a free 125x125 month-long ad spot for the winner. The contest was open to independent designers in various categories with readers voting for their favorite. This year's lucky winner is Lily Pottery. Lily Stratton creates wearable pieces of art that are hand-crafted using one-of-a-kind stamps and customized glazes she designs herself. I love the pendants that are hand-crafted using earthenware clay. The mermaid pink modern earrings are simple, yet elegant design. Lily also creates mugs, planters and other vessels that are equally beautiful. Congratulations again on winning the Designer Chick contest!
