Leviticus Jewelry

Fellow Texan Tara Levitin is a jewelry designer who started her own business, Leviticus Jewelry. Her one of a kind pieces incorporated antique items with other interesting design elements. The clever bracelet designs are perfect for many people I know, including an equestrian, a writer & a photographer. Don't miss the equally fabulous earrings and necklaces.

Zabelou

Anyone that knows me well knows that I have a major fear of live birds (except penguins - they have personality!). But I have to admit that I really like the cute little birdie brooches by Zabelou. You'll find plaid birdies, striped birdies, and even little pink birdies. The colorful koi little bird clips are cool, too.

DeJarnette New Orleans

Katherine DeJarnette Babin began creating her own accessories & transforming basic ensembles into unforgettable outfits at an early age. Her love of fashion & interesting elements is evident in her jewelry designs found at DeJarnette New Orleans. I love the accessories that incorporate vintage pieces with modern elements, such as the lovely purse locket. The stained glass pendant is also beautiful. The contemporary jewelry designs are equally stunning. These wearable works of art would appeal to just about anyone I would imagine.

Paper Shop Ink

Candis of Paper Shop Ink is currently selling a lovely set of notecards to raise money for the American Cancer Society. A year ago Candis lost her grandfather who battled cancer for a year. If you would like, you can request custom text to be printed on the inside of the notecards. The cost is $18.00 for 10 cards and envelopes & there is no shipping cost to anywhere in the USA. At this time payments can be made through paypal at candis@papershopink.com. Candis mentioned on her blog that these cards will be added to her store later on this month.

A Susi

Susanne of A Susi creates a wide array of lovely handbags & totes. I love the small canvas bags that are adorned with materials from vintage tea towels. And the disco bags are funky & fun! I am also drawn to the Asian blossom prints on bags & coordinating zip bags. And I ask you, who wouldn't want an adorable kangaroo bag? I sure would! I originally discovered Olivia Diane's charms on AfricanKelli's blog. Since then she opened up an Etsy shop called 3 Yellow Birds. As I've mentioned numerous times before, I am a dog lover. I was thrilled to discover the eco-chic dog & cat food dishes by Whiner & Diner (love the name, too!). These unique & stylish luxury pet accessories are hand-crafted from recycled wooden wine crates of prestigious European and Californian vineyards. It's very interesting to see the crates before they are transformed into these beautiful pieces. Whiner & Diner also has luxury pet beds made out of the same materials. Talk about pampered pets!

PREgo Rules

PREgo Rules (the PRE stands for Postpartum resolutions expected) was created by Rosie Hernandez while pregnant. She says the company was "born out of the need of cheering myself up during those days I feel like...pregnancy is taking over my mind, body & soul. These simple rules help me to re-ensure that there it is still ME somewhere... between my baby and...I." Here you will find many categories that you potentially fit into, such as coffee lover. Fototiller - Karina posts tons of awesome finds that have to do with photography and displaying photographs. She hasn't been posting as much lately because she is preparing for the arrival of her second child. Very understandable! Lots of great archives though.

Ellia - A super talented paper artist. This woman creates the most fabulous designs you will ever see. And she does so while raising two beautiful children with her husband. Check out her work! She also hosts wonderful Sweetpea Swaps that I love.

Sulu Design - Susan is a very talented jewelry designer. I have bought several pairs of her earrings & they are divine. Make wonderful gifts, too (if you can bear to part with them!). She regularly posts phots that inspired her to create. Great eye candy can be found here.

Turtle Papers is a fabulous Etsy shop based out of Seattle, Washington. Here you will find several limited edition gocco prints, such as the Lily Pads piece. I also love the pink & green Lost in the Woods print. However, the most adorable items are the screen printed children's apparel. Any wee one will be precious sporting an octopus or hippo tee.

I Shop With Mom

I Shop With Mom is the joint venture of iHanna & her mother Yvonne. Here you'll find lots of great handbags & totes created by these crafty women. The carrier bags are perfect for replacing your plastic grocery bags. There's also several Amigurumi figures that are adorable & my favorite item, the doggie baby blanket. The Cupcake Girls

I have recently gotten that rejuvenated excitement for crafting & have finally started getting my space set up in my new place. I would love to have one of the adorable bulletin boards by The Cupcake Girls to hang up by my table. And how freaking cute are the colorful plush felt mushrooms? The desk chair images are also very visually appealling. And perfect for any crafter is the mushroom sewing kit perfect for use while traveling.

Rosewebs

Today I was excited to read about Rosewebs on a newly discovered blog Crafty Pod. The products at Rosewebs are created out of lawn chair webbing. Talk about a great way to recycle those cheap lawn chairs! I absolutely love the messenger bags and colorful clutches. There's also the coolest wallets created out of this unique material. I desperately NEED the red & black striped bag to sport at Texas Tech football games this fall (school colors!). Check out all the unique items Rosewebs has to offer.

Sweet Pea Handcrafts

Sweet Pea Handcrafts offers a full line of kitchen accessories with a retro twist. If you thought aprons were a thing of the past, think again. Stylish aprons have made a big comeback in the last couple of years & the beautiful designs by Sweet Pea are no exception. The retro dishtowels would make a lovely housewarming gift, or a wonderful new addition to your own kitchen space. This week my friend Kelli has been talking about ways to consume less. One suggestion was to use cloth napkins. Sweet Pea has some beautiful ones to choose from, including sets of cocktail napkins. Have a look at all the fabulous products this company has to offer.

Un elephant rose is a new Etsy shop featuring awesome apparel. I love the use of animal designs, such as the lover whales. There's also a cute pink un elephant rose you can sport in honor of this new biz. And of course every great apparel shop catches my eye when there's monkeys incorporated into their pieces!

Jamie Zollars

Jamie Zollars' artwork tells stories of people & places far away. I love the piece Reluctant Neighbors which depicts a girl & bear sharing a ski lift. You can purchase prints of Jamie's work in her shop, as well as other goods. The card sets are a very affordable way to share these lovely works of art with others. Or proudly wear a button featuring one of several interesting images.

Feltland

Feltland could also be called Funland. I think you will agree when you see the adorable toys & pincushions! I love the sweet animals, such as Nan the Kangaroo and the purple snail. The pocket dolls are equally adorable. And who wouldn't love a smiling chestnut magnet? I am also completely smitten with the cute monkey sachet.

Bunny and Bee

The mission of Bunny and Bee is to design, create and deliver joyful pieces of children’s clothing that represent a sophisticated funky style while remaining whimsical and innocent. I think that's a fabulous mission, and one they have obviously achieved. The floral graphics adorning the infant girls clothing are wonderful & the ice cream camoflauge onsie is adorable. And I honestly wish the toddler designs came in my size! Unfortunately there is no adult clothing; however, there are many wonderful home goods, note cards & bags to choose from. Don't miss the edgier Little Thieves collection either which is perfect for little boys.

Damboise Designs

Damboise Designs is a fabulous source for lots of great crafty & decorative pieces. The letters and shapes made of sturdy MDF are perfect for customizing & hanging in your creative space. The dresses would be an adorable touch to any girly space, too. And I must have a whale to put in my nook! You'll also find cool paper packs, adorable onsies & much more at Damboise Designs. ISH Designs

ISH Designs is a cool Etsy shop featuring unique Japanese design. You'll find lots of cool pendants, my favorite being the Sakura Lilac pendant made of Mother of Pearl and Japanese Yuzen paper. Alli's Originals

And, I'm back! After reading through all the emails I received while on vacation, I decided to post about Alli Grosberg's shop. Alli's Originals specializes in made-to-order hand-stamped, personalized sterling silver jewelry. My favorite item is the pet id tag you can have created for your special pooch. Of course, I also love the hand-cut silver heart pendants, as well as the beautiful earrings. There's also wonderful pieces that are perfect for wedding & anniversary gifts. And don't miss the unique glass bead collection.

To say the porcelain work by Folded Pigs is unique would be a gross understatement. The super juicy brain bowl may remind you more of Halloween, but the workmanship of these products looks to be superb. And the zombies love brains plate is just downright clever! Broke Down Barn

Broke Down Barn showcases the handmade lampwork glass bead and sterling silver jewelry created by artist Ashley Watson. Her designs are so unique & she's using her talents to raise funds to hopefully one day save her family's historic farm in Frankfort, Kentucky. Ashley's Etsy shop is full of interesting artwork, such as the Squirrels with Guns plaque. There's also lots of fabulous earrings, like the black & white dot earrings. The owl earrings are also delightful. Purchase some of Ashley's wares & help her achieve her dream of one day opening an animal sanctuary.
