Studio Marcy
Studio Marcy is a wonderful source for whimsical handmade lampwork beads created by the talented Marcy Lamberson. Evie the graceful fish is absolutely adorable with her big red lips and I love Mia the funky monkey! As I've said before, I love mustache designs & the mustache love pendant is just another reason why they are so darn great. Marcy generously donated two lampwork bead necklaces for this month's giveaway, one being an adorable dog & the other a beautiful flying heart. Also, in honor of Leap Year everything in Marcy's shop is 25% off today only!

Snow Angel Designs
Snow Angel Designs is an adorable Etsy shop featuring the cutest handmade jumpers for little girls. Sadly, this shop will be closing this year as Angelique Airington will be focusing her energies solely on her photography. But that means there's deals to be had for you! These adorable children's dresses range from $10 to $20 USD. Talk about a steal! The dotted fleece dress looks cozy & warm. And I love the pleated hearts & dots dress. And what little girl wouldn't love handmade Penelope Ann? She too is wearing a precious handmade frock.
Noxenlux Chapeaux
Carlee Wolcott explains on her website that the French word chapeaux translates in English to hat. Carlee's beautiful handmade hats & accessories are reminiscent of the old Hollywood glamour style I have always admired. Her Etsy shop, Noxenlux Chapeaux, showcases a wide-array of designs ranging from tilt hats to mini top hats. The Albino Peacock Feather Fascinator is a particularly fascinating design, incorporating an actual albino peacock feather. The pink & black mini tricorn hat, a hat with the brim turned up on three sides, is another unique design I admire. And why not treat the man in your life to a skull & crossbones tricorn hat? Who knows, it may just bring a little Jack Sparrow-ness to your life.

Moon's Harvest
I mentioned Moon's Harvest in my Etsy Dallas trunk show recap on Monday. This East Texas based company uses ingredients that allow you to luxuriously indulge yourself without worrying about harsh chemicals or preservatives. I had the opportunity to try out a variety of their products included in the coolest assorted goodies jar. These large jars were well-decorated & contained tons of items ranging from bath bombs to dry oil mist. I chose the coconut lime & verbena scent that is delectable, but not overpowering. I especially loved the bar soap & the body scrub. The soap felt like chapstick for my entire body & was exactly what my dry, wintry skin needed. I used the body scrub on my feet (also in dire need of moisturizing & exfoliation) and felt like I could wear sandals any day now! It is very apparent that these wonderful products are made with the finest natural butters, oils, herbs, botanicals & other natural ingredients. You can see more Moon's Harvest products, such as the pet products, on their main website.

kett made.
Mark Kett, the artist behind kett made., creates wooden spoons and utensils, serving both form and function. When he & his wife Colleen's son reacted negatively to using metal spoons, the couple did not feel comfortable using plastic. Mark, a Luthier (or guitar maker), decided to design a wooden spoon in his shop so that his son would eat that day. His design took into account the natural curvature of his baby's mouth & included two ends - one for babies with smaller mouths and a larger end for others. Mark decided to craft his designs using the wood of birdseye maple. The couple decided to share their spoons with others; not in a mass production way, but to create each spoon by hand. These exotic wooden spoons are a wonderful alternative to the typical utensils we are accustomed to using on a daily basis. They are each intricate works of art, as well as functional objects.

Etsy Dallas Trunk Show Recap (and giveaway!)
Saturday Joe & I had the pleasure of attending the second Etsy Dallas trunk show. After a rocky start to the morning (ie: car accident), we arrived to find tons of terrific vendors displaying their fabulously funky designs. We caught up with previous Funky Finds including Patti Haskins, Designing Diva, Harrilu, & Tefi Designs. It's wonderful to see these designers regularly, giving us the opportunity get to know them & their work. We also met many new designers who are definitely Funky Finds!

Cindi is more than happy to create custom crosses to match any specific color scheme you request. Rustique Art also features barbed wire crosses, steel crosses, and more.
It was a pleasure visiting with the mother daughter team that is Moon's Harvest. This dynamic duo creates a wide array of bath & body products, including bubbly bars & dry oil mists. I will be reviewing many of their products later this week. Also, don't miss the fantastic one-of-a-kind hand-crafted jewelry designed by Erica Jean.
Susan Bradford of Sadie's Things creates beautiful antiqued brass jewelry. Using her own methods to speed up the aging process, Susan works in her "lab" to create a unique look. I was determined to treat my mom (and myself!) to some of Susan's earrings, but it was not easy choosing from all the gorgeous designs. (pictured)
We had a wonderful chat with two charismatic women who shared a booth. Mary's Madness features cool charm bracelets, vintage button jewelry & much more. This designer also has another Etsy shop, The Altered Black Sheep, showcasing unique pieces such as the silverware jewelry. Booth-mate Ellen Bennett of Ellen's Treasures is a delightful bundle of energy. She designs handbags (pictured), & children's items, such as burp cloths & bibs. I loved the Let's Meet for Coffee bag.
Christy Robinson was another jewelry designer I enjoyed visiting with. Christy actually has a studio located at the site where the trunk show was held. It was interesting to see the space where she designs & sells her designs on a regular basis. Christy strives to create unique jewelry that is hip & affordable. Her hand-stamped designs were among my favorites, as well as the rings.
We also met Cherry of Cherry's Creations & Tamara of TP Designs, both of which are participating in upcoming funky giveaways. Cherry designs jewelry which features recycled & repurposed elements. The wire wrapped pendants are exceptionally fabulous! Tamara is a talented photographer & artist whose work would be a great addition to any space. (pictured)

Mary Michael Shelley
According to Wikipedia, folk art describes a wide range of objects that reflect the craft traditions & traditional social values of various social groups. Folk art is generally produced by people who have little or no academic artistic training, nor a desire to emulate "fine art", and use established techniques and styles of a particular region or culture. Folk artist Mary Michael Shelley lists many adjectives on her home page that have been used to describe her work. This self-taught artists' work seems to fit the definition of folk art perfectly. Her carved folk art paintings span a variety of topics including diners and farm life. I'd have to say that the Adam and Eve pieces on carved pine are my favorite. I admire Mary's work because it doesn't seem to take itself too seriously which I believe lends even more credit to her original designs. Have a look at all of Mary's wonderful works of art. (work shown is titled Guard Dogs #3)

The Funky Felter creates lots of unique hand-felted wool accessories. You'll find lots of colorful heart items perfect for Valentine's Day. I love the heart pendants, hair pins, and colorful rings. (pictured)

I love the flower & vine piece, as well as the Criss Cross Cuff. The limited-edition rings & necklaces are equally fabulous. Earrings are my favorite accessory & A Pretty Rock has many terrific pairs to choose from. The stamped discs are unique & I love the multi-colored Chandelier earrings. And this is exciting...from now until February 14th, all orders over $40 will receive a free pair of Filigree Heart Circle Drops Earrings (a $20 value)! A perfect Valentine's Day gift!

Grace & Go
Grace & Go, a company based in South East London, creates a lovely range of contemporary housewares, baby apparel & accessories. These products are not only practical, but are also beautifully designed. I love the artistic designs on the baby onsies that feature an overall image comprised of many smaller images. And any woman would look fabulous carrying one of the black tote bags printed with beautiful metallic silver designs. What initially caught my eye at Grace & Go are the stunning textile designs. The tea towels, aprons & pillow cases look too divine to actually use! And I adore the Mid Century Chairs cushion covers. Stay tuned for the April giveaway where you could win one of these fabulous cushion covers for yourself!
