In October, we traveled to Austin, Texas, to attend Maker Faire. We were lucky enough to meet Jennifer Syfu of Starving Artist Bazaar and Karin Yusba of Blossom Shop, two Phoenix-based artists. These talented jewelry designers are now collaborating on pieces that can be found at Yoo Foo Shop, a play on both of their last names. Each piece is created using Jennifer's lampwork glass beads and jewelry designs by Karin. I love the Converse necklace accented with Moonstone rondelles, as well as the stunning Peace on Earth necklace. The Icicle Necklace, featuring a Czech faceted crystal drop, is another eye-catching piece. I especially like the combination of the modern looking lampwork beads on the antique-like cooper chain used to create the Flower Girl necklace.
