Diffraction Fiber

The weather is beginning to turn pretty chilly up here in the North which I'm not too fond of. However, I do love winter accessories, especially scarves. If you're looking for scarves that are a bit funkier, check out Diffraction Fiber. Beth Cummings creates fun and modern scarves that will get you through winter in style. I really like the reversible Aviary Scarf. The Changing Seasons Scarf is a beautiful orange and chocolate brown design that is perfect for Autumn. And my absolute favorite design is the Cameo Scarf that's a bit more elegant. Beth also creates unique pillows and other fun accessories worth checking out. Receive free shipping when you mention "Funky Finds" in the Notes to the Seller at checkout.

Jitni

Jitni features San Francisco-based designer Cynthia Ostroff's trendy, yet affordable, jewelry and scarves. What began as Bella Accessories in 2004 is now transitioning into Jitni with expanded product offerings. The company's jewelry line features items made of nonallergenic metals, hand-dyed Italian beads, and Swarovski crystals. The Raspberry Multi-Chain Necklace is a beautiful design that incorporates various beads & crystals. I also like the bold Red Resin Circles necklace, as well as the Amethyst quartz drops. Jitni's jewelry line also includes many unique bracelets and earring sets. Another trademark of this business is the luxurious collection of scarves made from cashmere, silk, and fine knits. The Light Mistal design is my favorite!

Michael Lynn Wherley

From 9- 5 Michael Lynn Wherley is a men’s wear designer. The rest of the time he is focused on developing his own original handbag and accessories line. His works are all one-of-a-kind and handmade with great pride and care for you to enjoy. I really like the unique shaped Fancy Bucks U tote. Michael's designs, such as the Totally Toy Time and Trinket hobo and Corny Knotted Sack, are so humorous and funky. You will also find hoodyscarves available in a variety of prints. Other favs of mine are the bright bamboo wristlet and the Charming U Tote. Check out Michael's Flickr to see more of his work.

1 turtle dove

Allison Earle says 1 turtle dove is all about the handmade and slow. Her shop showcases handmade scarves, pillow covers, and currently, even a nightgown. All items are made with organic and/or sustainable materials including organic cottons, linens, and peace silks. Also, all embroidery is done by hand and each piece is made to order. The muga peace silk open rose scarf is made using beautiful golden silk with hand embroidery in dark and medium red looped running stitch. Each one is a little different as Allison draws the rose design on by hand before embroidering. And the Scattered Stars halter top is an attractive piece perfect for spring & summer. Check Allison's blog for updates on special offers and more.

Chara Michele

Chara Michele is as sweet & kind as she is talented. And that's saying a lot! I found Chara's blog through another blogger's post about the fall swap she recently hosted. I have been a loyal reader of her blog since (and I had a ball participating in her swap!). Chara's Etsy shop has a problem all designers dream of...she continually updates her stock, but her items sell quickly before anyone can report on them! Her beautiful scarves sell like hot cakes, and it's no wonder. She also creates fun tags that can be used in a variety of ways. Check back often for updates you surely do not want to miss!

Karissa Cove

I know that spring has sprung for many of us (yay!) but I still want to draw your attention to the adorable apple scarves by Karissa Cove. Wearing one of these little cuties might make the winter blues a thing of the past. Karissa has also created some adorable little totes for those who love to knit.
