Sheldon Roy is the 14 year old creative force behind The Silver Craftsman. His shop features a wide variety of unique items made out of silverware ranging from jewelry to garden markers. "Last year, I saw someone stamping silverware and it was intriguing. I thought, I can do that! So I made personalized luggage tags for myself out of flattened spoons. That is where it all started and I was hooked. I made a few items for gifts and many started telling me, You have a real talent, you need to sell these! So, in March of this year, I started my own Etsy shop and it has really taken off. I like to say all my items are hand-crafted or handmade...there is a real craft involved, coming up with my own original ideas and unique items, telling their own story. My items aren't something you can find in popular jewelry stores."

He went on to say that jewelry making wasn't on his radar as an interest, but he really enjoys it now. Mani Designs features Amber Mahler's handcrafted work that ranges from Botanical-themed silver jewelry to 18K gold lost wax cast jewelry. The variety of botanical designs include very unique pieces, such as the Field Flower Hoops that are to be worn through the back of the ear. The Branches drop earrings are another pair that are beautiful. Amber also works with enamel and vintage tin when creating jewelry that includes necklaces, as well as earrings. I would love to have a pair each of the earrings. I especially admire the cut out designs, such as the trees & flowers.
